At Pratis Barns, we are passionate about and committed to delicious food; after all, it is at the heart of so many events. All catering is undertaken in-house by chef and co-owner of Pratis Barns, Patrick Gilmour and his well established and award winning business, Patrick Gilmour Event Catering.

Patrick has been in the food and hospitality industry since 1999 and has an intricate understanding of what requirements are needed for event catering. Patrick has experience working in many venues around Scotland and further afield and his arrival at Pratis Barns will allow for a permanent kitchen to be installed and the catering operation to be enhanced further.

Menus are always discussed, then proposed, tweaked, tasted if requested and finalised. Food is always at the heart of Patrick’s planning and there are no restrictions on what is possible. When menus and quotes are presented to clients, pricing will include all essential tableware and staff for your event. We aim to make things as clear and simple for you as possible.

We have our own range of British Churchill China crockery, Churchill 18/10 stainless steel cutlery, and a full selection of Chef & Sommelier glassware. We hire linen tablecloths and napkins, in whatever colour you request, and will arrange this for you. Chivari chairs with ivory pads and six foot round tables are included in the hire of the venue.

Our core front of house team have been working with Patrick for six years and know the ropes inside out.
